Skinny Moose. Kind of an apocalyptic/the government wants your guns look at things... And if that is the case, then shouldn't everyone stock up on guns and ammo?
While still available, I would suggest that hunters, at least those who can see beyond ridiculing and demonizing me, stock up on guns and ammo and do it in such a fashion to limit or eliminate registering so government can’t trace sales. Keep ample supplies of ammo on hand. With a collapsed economy, food will be rare and you will risk your life to have it.
