I personally carry with one in the pipe because as a CWP holder I realize that I may have to actually draw and shoot somebody one day. I would prefer to not have to draw, rack, and then shoot.
I also keep my "bedside gun" with one in the pipe (its in a gun vault). I used to not do so, because of safety purposes, but since I have been carrying I decided to try to keep the operating systems as similar as possible.... I really dont want to have to worry about changing my thought process depending on which gun I am having to employ.
