Apparently Team Obama wants people to be able to "test out jobs" while still getting unemployment benefits. Wait. What!?

[The Obama] administration is asking states to apply for a new program that would let people test out new jobs while still receiving unemployment benefits.
The "Bridge to Work" program is part of the payroll tax cut package that Obama worked out with Congress earlier this year. The Labor Department is offering to finance up to 10 demonstration projects, and opened the application process on Thursday.

Yeah, thats what we need.... something that lets people double dip and get unemployment after they have found a job. WTF! I dont care if you dont like digging ditches, you better drag your ass out of bed and go earn your keep. Unemployment is not supposed to be a way for you to shop around and try out jobs to find out which one you like. Its there to help provide a safety net until you can find another job. Any job!

TN Concealed Carry Holders May Soon Have a Legal "Out"

The bill’s sponsors say this legislation acts as legal insurance in case of harmless accidents (like missing a posted land sign or not noticing a business is “No Guns Allowed.”  Rep. told reporters over the weekend:

“First of all, if you’re a licensed permit holder, and you have a gun, and you were not supposed to have it in a place, that was posted – you didn’t see the posting — and for whatever reason it was found that you had a gun. And no nefarious things were happening, you hadn’t broke the law any other way, but you happened to have a gun there. We’re just saying that you have a defense, an affirmative defense, in the state of Tennessee.”

George Zimmerman to face charges

The Washington Post is reporting that George Zimmerman will face charges in the shooting of Treyvon Martin

Florida special prosecutor Angela Corey plans to announce as early as Wednesday afternoon that she is charging neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, according to a law enforcement official close to the investigation.

Corey told reporters Tuesday night that she would hold a news conference about the case within 72 hours. A news release from her office said the event will be held in Sanford or Jacksonville, Fla.

Remember Michael Pfleger, the radical priest in Chicago last heard from in the 2008 campaign, defending his friend Rev. Jeremiah Wright? ... Well, Father Pfleger is back, baby, and he has a new eeeeeevil in his sights — guns.  Or perhaps more accurately … gateway guns?

The good "priest" had this to say: “I am writing to express my concern and outrage that Kmart is selling Easter baskets, which are obviously for children, with toy guns in them,”... “With the increasing gun violence in Chicago and across this country, I am amazed that you would choose to offer toy guns to our children to make them comfortable with playing with them. I am asking you to remove any baskets with toy guns in them from your store’s shelves immediately,”

U.S. Marines Get Gun Free Zoned

This is a complete disgrace.

Hundreds of U.S. Marines were suddenly told Wednesday to leave and return unarmed to a venue where Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta was scheduled to speak, according to reports — an unusual move that illustrates the military’s heightened security concerns.

Now, I know that on the surface those idiot liberals thought that this was a great idea what with the recent military member going crazy and shooting Afghans and the whole Fort Hood shooting.... but in reality, this is nothing but a clear acknowledgement of this administration's disdain and distrust for armed forces members.

And guess what... Like all gun free zones, it didn't do a damn thing to make old Leon one bit safer. In fact, they are lucky as hell that there was not another Nidal Hasan in the mix that would have viewed this as a green-light opportunity to take a shot at Panetta or to go on a rampage and slaughter un-armed Marines. Nothing would have stopped another Hasan from putting a pistol or two and a bunch of mags in his waistband and pockets. All Panetta and his security team did with this was create a fish-in-a-barrel situation. Thank God nothing bad happened.

This is a complete outrage, and heads should roll!

Wow! If you are not following the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence's Facebook page, you are really missing out on a glimpse into the sick minds of the people that we are up against. They and their sycophants are so far removed from reality that its scary. You should stop by every once in a while and have a read. Its very enlightening look at the mindset of the "common sense gun laws" crowd.

Did you know that there is *one Starbucks in the United States in which guns are expressly prohibited? That Starbucks is located in the building that houses the company's corporate headquarters in Seattle, Washington. Guns are also expressly prohibited, of course, in those offices. You see, being around poorly screened (or totally unscreened) gun-toters might be "safe" for you, but Starbucks executives are well aware that it isn't safe for them.

Yeah, thats gonna win friends and influence people.

*Hey dumb asses, they are also not allowed in the Starbucks locations that are located in hospitals, at Malls that post no-carry signs, and oh I dont know... every single Starbucks in Washington D.C., Illinois, China, Hong Kong, London, Brazil, Japan, Vietnam, and every other nation that does not respect the freedom of their people.

Come on... That was the best you guys could come up with? Five minutes on Wikipedia would have yielded more information than that. Oh well, guess I cant get too upset at the fact that the opposition doesn't have the brains and talent necessary to actually put up a worthy effort.
