The debate rages on. Here is a rather extensive debate about the topic by a bunch of mousegun "fanatics".

Their poll results thus far:

Penetration is more important
  35 (35%)
Expansion is more important
  13 (13%)
They are equal
  41 (41%)
Don't care as long as it shoots
  10 (10%)
Don't know

Taurus TCP in .32 ACP

Yes, they are making these in .32 ACP now. It has been done very quietly. They were shown at shot, but I had not heard about it until I saw it in an ad in a recent gun magazine.

These will be great for recoil sensitive shooters or those who are still finding it hard to find .380 ammo. .32 ACP does give up some performance to the .380, but IMHO it is really not enough to make a significant difference.... with the right load you can still come very close to .380 penetration and expansion.

*BTW - I hope that there is a weight reduction in the .32 vs the .380 version. The Kel-Tec P32 is about 2 oz lighter then the P3AT and about 3 oz lighter then the LCP

Kel-Tec P3AT 9 round magazine review

Here is a really well put together review of Kel-Tec's new extended mag for the P3AT.

Overall, THis is a good addition to their product line, and one that I certainly will welcome when shooting at the range.  My guess is that this will make it a lot more predictable on the groupings.  At the very least I beleive it will reduce fatigue.  Based on the Crimson trace dot and dry firing, it certainly appears to be able to hold a steady line.

Bottom line, while I will still stay with the 6 rounds for carry purposes, it is a well constructed and solid product.

You can buy it here for $26.50 at their website.
