Robert is documenting what seems to be a lemon of a Kimber Solo. The company states that its gonna be a finicky gun and has very specific recommendations about ammo selection. However, their test gun wont even run that.

Kimber Royal II

Shot Business Magazine is reporting that Kimber will mark the centennial of the 1911, by upgrading a full-size 1911 that it originally introduced in 1995. The Royal II will have a slide, frame and barrel that has a traditional charcoal bluing from Turnbull Restoration. It will also include solid-bone grip panels as well as a match-grade 5-inch barrel, chamber, trigger and barrel bushing, as well as a frame and slide.
