Madison police chief and open carry activist meet on talk show

Chief Noble Wray defended the disorderly conduct citations issued in the recent Culver's restaurant incident, and Nik Clark said the Wisconsin Carry plans to sue the Madison police over its response this week. He denied that the Sept. 18 incident at a Madison Culver's was a set up to provide the basis for a law suit.
Five men wore holstered handguns into an east side Madison Culver's. After a couple other patrons made inquiries to police, several officers responded. Two of the five refused to give ID and were ticketed for obstruction of justice. Madison police later rescinded those tickets, but charged all five with disorderly conduct.
