Pull!

Got a chance to get out and shoot some clays this weekend, and had a really great time doing it. Took my Benelli Nova 12 ga. and also got to spend a little time behind a Remington 11-87 12 ga. and a Charles Daly 12 ga. auto loader

I've got to say, I have never really been a fan of my Nova. The main reason being it just doesnt fit me well. Length of pull is a bit too long for me, and man do I hate how the slide rattles. I have long said that if someone ever comes along with about $300 cash in their hand, it will be gone baby gone! However, the more I shoot it, the more it grows on me. Its definitely a shooter. I have never had a single problem with it, and it always shoots where I point it - It really smoked those clays this weekend.

The Remington does exactly what you would think it would for being a Remington. It probably kicks a little harder then a 12 ga. should, but its a dead on bird killer. I also really liked the Charles Daly. Not as well refined as the Remington, but it really felt great in the hand and it was a soft shooter as well.

*Sorry, no gun porn.

**It also looks like Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan recently went out and shot some skeet.
