Rumors on the Internet...

One of the Grand Poobahs over at the Kel-Tec forum says that he had a discussion with a guy from a machine/tooling shop in TN and says that they are designing a semi-auto pistol in .22 WMR that will be the size of the P-3AT.

He said that it is going to be about the size of a P3AT, chambered in .22WMR with a 15 round magazine.  It will have polymer grips and they are thinking it should be pretty lightweight. He told me the design they are using has a pinned barrel and a rather unique recoil system, with a Luger being the closest thing currently in existence.  He said that he and the owner had wanted such a firearm for some time and, since no one else is making one, decided to make one, themselves.  Of course, this is not an existing firearm, yet, but they do seem to be excited about the project and the guy I talked to said that he can't wait to fire the prototype, himself.  They seem pretty determined to do this and the guy also said that my favorite LGS, where I was talking to him, would be the first shop to have them to sell.

Here is the entire discussion
