Well, I'm back to blogging, but you can expect it to be a slow week.... I had a great weekend with the family over Halloween, and I also got to get out to the range and punch some holes in the paper bad guys. I ran about 75 rounds through my Glock 26 and about 50 rounds through my Sterling Arms stainless steel .22:
I have got to say that I am starting to really like this little guy. I bought it about a month or so ago as a cheap plinker and/or project gun. Not knowing how it was gonna run (they are known for being pieces of junk) I figured it would at least be fun to do some amateur "gunsmithing" on, and since its in .22 it would cost next to nothing to run. So I figured it would be fun.
To date, I have put 200+ rounds through it and it runs pretty darn good on Federal bulk and is 100% on CCI mini mags. If I shoot it weak hand only it will fail to strip a round from the mag.... I am pretty sure I am limp wristing it when that happens or it may be the federal ammo... but other then that I have only had two failure to feeds and that was during the first 50 rounds and that was with federal bulk.
Accuracy, off hand, is minute of fat guy at 15 yards and about 6 inches at 7 yards. It's kinda funny because every once in a while I can get two shots to almost kiss each other and then the third would be about six inches away. Anyway... Never the less this little guy is a fun plinker.
What? My Glock 26? Well, that thing just continues to run and run and run and run and run... world without end, Amen. I love my Glocks!
