Back to blogging...

Yes, the Christmas parties are all over and all the presents have been unwrapped, so I will be getting back to blogging pretty regularly now. Dont expect it to be too heavy in the near future because I still have to take all the lights off the house... watch all those bowl games.... and do some stuff around the house.

I didnt really get any gunnie stuff for Christmas, but I didnt ask for anything either. JP has put up a nice read on his blog about a very special firearm that he received as a gift this year. You can read all about it here. He also put together a very nice write up of a brand new S&W bodyguard .380 he just picked up......... here.

Oleg Volk has been spending some time with the Boberg XR9-S. You can see his photos here and here, as well as read a short range report here (Hat Tip: SaysUncle). Also, notice how the magazine is loaded "backwards". You can read more on the pistol here

That Boburg really intrigues me... One, I like pocket pistols. Two, I have been saying for a long time that a 9x19 built to the size and weight of a Kel-Tec P3AT would be the Holy Grail of pocket rockets. At 18 oz, its still a little heavy for pocket carry, but I am very interested in Oleg's testimony about the shootability of the gun and the overall lack of muzzle flip. Thats a first for a 9x19 that is this small.
