More on the Taurus Carbine

GH&G has a great post up with lots of pics............ here

According to the Taurus representative I spoke with at the Show, the Taurus Carbine is a semi-automatic version of a select fire submachine gun that the company sells in other areas of the world.  The rep advised these pistol caliber carbines (9mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP) are all a blowback design, which helps explain their relatively heavy weight (up to 12.25 pounds.)

The Taurus rep said the company did not have any projected date to start import.  The magazines on the carbines did not interchange with any of the Taurus handguns, but I was told the company is “looking at it.”
