This is how you fix gun rights violations

Punish the actual law makers.

Thats what Florida will soon be doing. If you pass an anti gun law in Florida, then YOU will pay a fine and be held responsible.

Starting October 1st, any public official who passes or enforces gun regulations below the state level faces  a $5,000 personal fine and could even be removed from office by the governor for enacting or enforcing local gun laws. While Florida has had a law on its books since 1987 that makes it illegal to pass gun regulations beyond state statutes, there was no enforcement mechanism in place. As a result, towns and cities have created ordinances at will. In the process, many of them have criminalized otherwise completely law-abiding citizens who unintentionally ran afoul of arbitrary, localized gun rules. But thanks to the law recently signed by Governor Rick Scott, that’s all about to change in the Sunshine State.
I have long said that this is how you stop laws that infringe on our constitutionally protected (read: God given) rights. Hold them accountable. It will end legislative activism and bring us back to a nation that respects the constitution... If you dont like what the constitution says, then change it. Until then shut up and do what it says. It is our contract with government, and it should not be nuanced and completely ignored. And please, Florida, dont let this just stop with gun laws.... apply it across the board to every state law that you have in place.

I will also add, that this needs to apply to judges too. Judicial activism is just as deadly as legislative activism.

Alternate Headline: Cant wait until this becomes federal law!
