Ashley Spurlin says 'Top Shot' on History is completely "rigged"

Over at TTAG they've got Ashley Spurlin's Facebook posts that say basically that the entire thing is a sham.

Go read the entire write up... there is more of the Facbook posts too. Its very interesting.

On a side note... I know of a few things floating around the far corners of Internet land that suggest very similar stagings with the show 'Sons of Guns'. I have often gone back and forth about if I should bring it into full light or not via the blog, but have never really cared since I fully understand that all of this is just TV. Its entertainment, and its designed to be as entertaining as possible.

The big problem with this is that, unlike 'Sons of Guns', 'Top Shot' is sold to us as a pure competition. It also has a big fat paycheck and an inside track to possible employment opportunities within the firearms industry for the winner. If what Ashley is alleging can be proven, there certainly could be (and should be) a huge lawsuit for any and all of the contestants who may have been eliminated from the "competition" by means of manipulation.

*Hmmm... I wonder if old Robert Farago is going to go through with his spoiler reveal of the 'Top Shot' winner now.
