When did Halloween turn into Christmas?

Back in my day... they used to just put a few fall themed items or Halloween decorations out on the porch and they were done with it. Now, people are decorating their whole damn yard for Halloween. Spider webs on the bushes, skeletons coming out of the ground, ghosts hanging in the trees, orange Christmas lights all over the house... good grief! Where does it end?

I usually go all out for Christmas time and hang lights and stuff all over the house, but I really am not up for going through the whole process twice in one year... Its becoming a bit much.
