An AR in .17 HMR?

Yep. It looks like Alexander Arms is doing just that.


They will be initially offering 500 units so that they can get things up and running and deal with demand. They have really reinvented the wheel on this one to address bolt cyclic times and ejection issues that have plagued this caliber in semi-autos. It will be a direct blow back rifle and will have what they call a "recoil cassette". They are also promising that the rifle will be MOA.
