I have seen these in the past in pics of LEO/Military snipers, but until yesterday had no idea who was making them or where to get them. They are pricey, but as someone who regularly uses a tri-pod to deer hunt, I have to say that these look like an amazingly well designed product. From reading a bit on their website, they look like they are over-engineered in order to stand up to the rigors of combat.
If you've never shot from a tri-pod before, its an amazingly solid shooting platform. These would probably make a fine choice for anyone into precision marksmanship.
