Really, its just like the safety on a gun... Neither are ever enough to protect you 100% of the time, and both can lead to complacency. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that a loaded chamber indicator can be in the empty position and there still be a round in the gun. Even if its a "one in a million" chance... that becomes a very real possibility when you think about how many times in your life you handle firearms. Sh*t happens and machines fail. Dont let your complacency and faith in a part lead to disaster.
