Wow. I was shocked at how much these look like the real thing.... and also that Magpul is apparently not gonna sue over it.

Nice picture. You could have at least hosted it on your own dime and not mine. Thanks for advertising my forum though ;-)
ReplyDeleteI actually didnt even read the watermark on the photo. It was one of the many I saw over at the forum discussion that I linked to.
DeleteIf you want me to take it down, just say the word. Otherwise, I will put proper attribution on it for you. Sorry. My bad.
Those pictures on ar15.com are mine, I would take a wild guess that I have the only or one of a few GMags here in the U.S. These mags were made for the German market. I see they are now being marked OA-MAG, Oberland Arms.
Deletelink to thefirearmblog which I saw on fb yesterday with another "shocking" find about these mags.

I don't mind you using the picture, but could you at least save it to your own photohost?
Thanks

To the blog readers......
ReplyDeleteThese GMags (now OA-MAGS)have been around for 3+ years now. Why all of the sudden "oh wow look at these fake PMags" ???
Looking for more info?
Here's the link to WEVO forum where I first learned about these "fake" PMags.

Done.
ReplyDeleteAnd once again, I do apologize. It was most definitely a careless oversight on my part. I did not mean to overstep any bounds.
