TUFF-WRITER™ LAUNCHES "THE ULTIMATE CLICKY PEN PROJECT" THROUGH KICKSTARTER

Project launched to create the first run of stunning new clicky pens. 

   

PHOENIX, AZ (April 2012) -  Tuff-Writer™ Inc., makers of the world's toughest American made pens, have launched "The Ultimate Clicky Pen Project" to create a first production run of the world's finest clicky pens. The Ultimate Clicky Pen is the brain child of Tuff-Writer General Manager Jack Roman, who has been designing pens for the tactical industry for years and has now turned his attention to designing and building an all metal, machined clicky pen.

The Ultimate Clicky Pen is designed to be entirely modular, with each component being easily replaceable, and designed to last a lifetime. The pen utilizes an all metal body machined out of 6061-T6 Aluminum. To ensure proper balance and amazing strength, the tip is machined out of 303 Stainless Steel. A clip, pressed out of spring steel and coated for durability and corrosion resistance, helps keep the pen securely fastened and close at hand. The pen also uses a spacer for allowing fitment of multiple cartridges (Fisher / Foray / Parker) and at its heart, a machined advancing mechanism with a two piece bearing and cam design for silky smooth operation.

Tuff-Writer is utilizing Kickstarter to launch the initial production run of the Ultimate Clicky Pen and make it available for pre-order at a discounted pre-release price. As with all Tuff-Writer pens, the Ultimate Clicky will be proudly made in the USA and carry a limited lifetime warranty.
