Gun Companies and Social Media

Yes, many of the dinosaurs still have not embraced it. Some have and are doing a fine job at it... and I believe are reaping the benefits. Over at Guns.com they have a look at how well Beretta has been doing with the social media game.

Its undeniable that firearms consumers are using social media to communicate with each other and the company about their experiences... and Beretta is listening. The long term dividends that this type of behavior is going to pay will be huge for the company.

For example—some customers wanted to adjust the sights.  Easy enough, if you have an Allen wrench in the right size.  They asked, “why wasn’t an Allen wrench included in the package?”

Three days later, the Nano was shipping with an Allen wrench.
